TRAINING SUBSIDY

Under the Certificate 3 Guarantee, the Queensland Government will subsidise training costs for students across a range of courses at the Certificate III qualification level. The Queensland Government will, on your behalf, directly pay the training provider the level of subsidy related to the course you enrol in. The amount the subsidy, depends on its priority level, which is based on the demand for skilled workers in the areas of study.

You must meet the remaining costs associated with the course. students should expect to contribute to the cost of their training through a student contribution fee. Some students, including those with a health care or pensioner concession card as well as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, will receive a higher subsidy.
